This pair of male and female figures are a couple from an imagined future. They’re dressed like a priest and priestess of Russian Constructivism at an art student’s ball. Specifically, each has the costume and bearing of Bauhaus performers in Oskar Sclemmer’s famous 1922 Triadic Ballet. Figures are composed of crisp geometries and long, faceted planes. Their bent-kneed, thick slab legs extend beyond clothing of trapezoidal piecework hooded capes. Fun. Artful. Fantastic.
